Lucy is a Leicestershire based Artist and Stone Carver who loves the variation that commissions bring, whether it is a 3D Stone Carving, Bookends, Bench, House Name/Number plaque, Headstone, Portrait, Pet Portrait, Wall Mural, Caricature or something completely different Lucy will endeavour to create a unique and/or personal piece for you or your loved ones.
Lucy studied Fine Art at Loughborough University and Architectural Stone Conservation and Carving at Bath College. She was born in 1989 and grew up in the countryside in Rutland. Ever since she could grip a pencil, Lucy has drawn.
Her interest in stone developed at the age of fourteen when Lucy began working on a Saturday at a Memorial Masonry called RGR Memorials. Here she learnt skills such as sandblasting, painting and gilding lettering. Although Lucy works in a variety of mediums including; stone, clay, pencil, glass, textiles, watercolours, coloured pencil and charcoal, her preferred mediums are; Stone, Clay and Pencil. She predominantly works in British stones such as Slate, Bath Stone and Portland Stone.
Lucy works to commission, exhibits in galleries and teaches individual and group workshops.
Lucy has produced the illustrations for a book by Beth Cortese called "The Sharson Chronicles" which was published by Rowanvale Books. Lucy has produced the illustrations for a book by Beth Cortese called "Buttercup and Her Many-Legged Friends" which was published by Rowanvale Books.

Lucy was also involved in the conservation of; a damaged statue from "The Corridor" in Bath, The Orangery at Tyntesfield Manor, a National Trust property, St. Bartholomew's Church in Corsham, Wiltshire and a Manor house in Didmarton, Gloucestershire. (2011-2012)
